3 was good. The franchise would have gone back into hibernation if 3 hadn't
done some major heavy lifting after the atrocity of 2.
4 was mediocre. Started way too cocky for a movie that ended with Ethan hand fighting a scientist who was apparently his equal.
1 stays at the top for me for the nostalgia factor, then 3 and 5 are tied, then 6, then 4, and then the Bond movies, the Bourne movies, the latest Ghost Busters, Goonies, pretty much the entire Pirates of the Caribbean franchise (even the awful last one), about a thousand other movies I'm not going to list right now, several Hallmark Christmas movies, and then 2.
