Maybe years ago that was the case..? But now a days, under ICS it's absolutely
not.

I can't claim how it is in other sectors of the Church, but under the ICS (technology) wing, it's very good and competitive. It has to be or they would end up getting crappy talent, which they don't want.

Maternity leave is great, but paternity leave isn't (which i think is reasonable). 401k is amazing, time off and sick time is great (available immediately upon hire). Most importantly salary is very competitive. As I noted above, they do salary adjustments every so often to make sure they're paying what the market demands.

For anyone interviewing w/ the church, just ask the recruiter. Having been in the tech sector for 20+ years, the Church is by far the best job I've ever had.
