and still have youth and adult sports on Thurs nights, from Dec - April. Our non member participation is big in the morning, and very big on Thurs night. Can't see any reason to not use it to our full advantage to dispel some of the crazy things people believe about us. We generally have very good sportsmanship and fellowship, and when our youth season starts, " Mormon ball " is the place to be for all three of the high schools that feed into our stake, and our building is packed. Some will disagree, but we could do great things if we reintroduced sports, as part of a missionary program, that prosilyted gently, and welcomed all. At 64 years old, I have played organized church sports every year of my life since I was 21, and have loved it.
