Anybody see this on Alta's website:
Today's surprise nine-inch powder day pushed our season snowfall total to 445 inches—which is officially the deepest start to the season (October through January) in the 43-year history of the Collins study plot.
Pretty wild!

And I would bet that the water content is much higher than normal because a lot of that snow wasn't dry Utah powder.
