SDSU and Zags are trying to use the Big 12 to create FOMO for the PAC…
I highly doubt there is any serious interest in either program absent the creation of true western division of the Big 12. And neither of these teams would be on the first ship.
The only scenario SDSU comes to the conference is if Arizona and ASU insist on it for them jump.
SDSU knows that the PAC sitting at 10 is just as likely as expanding. They are trying to tip the cart in their direction.
