Why people travel with kids is beyond me.
I've done my fair share of traveling, and recently took a couple older kids with us to French Polynesia.
But taking young kids to Europe or Hawaii? Thanks but no thanks. Flying with kids is miserable. They don't appreciate what you're doing, it's less fun for us, and on top of all that is the cost.
We took kids to the likes of Disney/Florida, LA, Seattle, and DC/ NYC.
They were short trips with stuff like baseball and amusement parks that kids wanted to do. And they didn't need to be relaxing.
I just don't get longer beach or worse sightseeing trips with kids. Walking around the Louvre with 6 to 14 year Olds? Not sure where Dante puts it, but definitely a level of hell.
