Loved the five seat middle of the 747. To get them to sleep my wife and I would sit on the aisles, put blankets down and lay two of them down on the floor, have the third lay on the three seats between us.

Also, as odd as it sounds, we would have 'leashes' for the kids for the airport. We never lost a kid.
