Ok, I used to kind of appreciate some calculations on the bill for tip, to help get the range about right.
BUT, to be honest, recently it is annoying me more than helping.
Now the suggested tips are silly. Thursday night, we're a midclass chain, and the suggested tips are 20%, 25% and 30%. REALLY!?!?! That seems pretty generous to start your tipping range at, for a chain restaurant especially!
What do you think a store should put for "suggested tip" or whatever on the bottom on the reciept?
10%, 20%, 30%?
10%, 25%, 33%?
10%, 15%, 20%?
20%, 30%, 50%?
20%, 25%, 30%?
Nothing ... people can figure it out?
No Tip at all, it's part of the cost of the meal?
