They started to play with 12 seconds, which is the rule if you're down on the scoreboard so you can get a rebound and put back if you miss.
When it's tied, you're supposed to start to play with 8 seconds. But the shot clock was a factor.
That's why I say start it with 10 seconds.
Even if you don't get a shot off, it's better than giving St Mary's 10 seconds to run a play. Overtime is better than a loss in regulation.
