Internal temp is about 125 or so. Rotate ans flip it a few times. Let sit for 15 min.

slicing a Tri tip properly is just as important as how you grill it.

It’s elbow shaped so slice it in half right at the ‘elbow’ curve area and then slice each of the two pieces across the grain. A Tri tip has two muscle fiber groups that kind of run at different angles so that’s why you should cut it in half first then slice against the grain for serving.
