Depends on the quality. The best hay goes to dairy or export
Factors include protein measures and how thick or tough the stem is.
Fourth cutting was usually the best as it grew in more moderate heat.

I’ve read on CB that agriculture uses more water than people/subdivisions in northern Utah. That doesn’t seem plausible.
