The water used for ten acres of alfalfa in Utah could be used to build ten acres
of housing and a technology park. The ten acres of housing/technology park would generate orders of magnitude more GDP. Increased housing would lower housing prices. Water in Utah is scarce, so it should be efficiently allocated.
