its extremely peculiar for them not to be moving ahead on promoting their own seasons. I mean whether they are in SEC or in Big 12 they still have 100k and 80k stadiums to fill, so it appears they have something up their sleeve for not choosing to promote their own schedule yet.
Maybe they are waiting for their own announcement that they are leaving early and this is their Big 12 farewell year? That way they can promote themselves separately from the Big 12. You know once they are on their way out their loyalty starts to shift to the new conference.
Obviously blowing up the already-announced SEC schedule (as well as the just announced Big 12 schedule) would be a high-maintenance way to go about things, so that is my guess is they are waiting for their own announcement soon of leaving Big 12 early and then will use that announcement to promote their Big 12 farewell seasons.
But then again divorces are not always conveniently timed out for the various parties.
