The system they have now is much, much better than it was in the past. There has always looked like lots of seats open when I've renewed but once I renew my seats, I can't log back in to see how they fill up either so I'm sure your experience is different than mine.

When we first started buying season tickets 40+ yrs ago, all you could do was to put in a request to the ticket office that your seats be upgraded and suggest the section you wanted to be in. When your tickets arrived in the mail, you were either happy or disappointed. That system sucked.

I still think there is room for improvement though. I'd like a 2 day window (for example) at the end of the season ticket holder renewal selection time period and prior to the general public window to change your seats if you want in case others have not renewed and a better location has opened up. Some here on CB have suggested that every seat be opened up every year and you can choose whatever you want based on your points. Maybe that's the way to go.
