That's a small sample. I think Utah is in a really good position in the new Pac-12. Keeping status quo is a good thing
for Utah and the 12-team playoff format. I think Utah would've been in the playoffs the last 3 consecutive seasons.
That's with USC and UCLA.
I can see Utah, UW and Oregon with with another program alternating each year, vying for the bye and for the 2nd spot each year.
Grabbing SMU is a sign the conference is going to stick together. Not bad at all. I don't see the shame.
In fact, Utah probably recruits Texas better than any other P10 school. This could help on that front as well.
