Even with unequal distribution, in order for pac10 teams to each make $5mil more,
That would require more than $25million more each year to be generated by adding these two new teams. Just assume you give the new teams $10mil a year. So they would have to increase the contract by $35million more each. That makes no sense.

Some people have been saying it will increase the current offer by 20%. If the current offer is $25mil per team that’s $250mil total. So then SMU/SDSU would increase it to $300mil.

That’s not enough to put anyone above the big12 payout.

But if what they're saying means 20% more for the current pac10 with unequal distribution, that means $30mil for each of them. SMU/SDSU still needs some money though. So how little are they making? $5mil? Then the overall payout is $310? So that still means the two programs are additive. Adding them would bring the average from 25 to 26. Still doesn’t make sense.
