Just like they lost against Oregon in 2019, 5 million people still tuned in. Mostly hoping for Utah to lose to create a spot in the playoff. But who cares? 4+ million viewers are hard to come by in the west.
And it created a big win for Oregon helping to bolster their ranking.
Teams that have the propensity to get to the top 5 - 10 have tremendous value, IMO. I think if Utah starts top 12 next year as expected, they will now have been in the top 12 more seasons than not over the last 15 years.
