Basketball analytics question
Curious if anyone has ever seen analytics on the relative sucess rate of different finishing moves (e.g., spin move, close floater, contested 1 foot layup, contested 2 foot layup, baby hook, pro hop, etc.)

Also curious if anyone has ever seen a matrix or guide as to which offensive moves work well against certain defensive situations. For example, when a defensive player is overplaying your strong side, change of directions such as crossovers, spins, etc. could be effective. As another example, when you beat your guy but a big defender is waiting for you, you should shoot a floater (or something like that) or look to dish to open guy. Something along those lines but comprehensive.

I can piece a lot of this together myself, but was hoping to find something to build on. My goal is to help my son envision game situations as he works on his skills.
