Get on the popular rides early as the wait times can approach 2-3 hours in the afternoons/evenings.

Dinner at the Citywalk restaurants book early, get reservations as soon as you can if you're interested in eating there or else you're just out of luck.

Volcano Bay was really great and their ride waiting system is fantastic. We rented a cabana to give us a common meeting place and for food which made it a great place for me to nap for half the day. This might have been my favorite day of the trip.

We got a VIP pass added on to our tickets for the first day we were there - better than an express pass and will give you breakfast and lunch (a better value than the express pass). You are divided into groups of 10-12, a staff member is your tour guide, and you are taken around given backstage access and ushered to the front of every ride in both parks. NO LINES. You'll get sick of the rides by the afternoon, but you'll be able to ride 12-15 rides in one day if that is a priority for you.
