Mabuhay Coug Playmaker
Not to forget that Jimmy Mac is from Utah and played at Roy HS.Nice to be home
He could have played anywhere, but liked the playing style, liked Coach Edwards, and his family was still close. He was probably given more leeway than any other player in BYU history, but it was a win win relationship and even cooler note that he has his degree and number retired.
BYU is unique, but sometimes it is also about just being where you feel comfortable. Like many of you, I have known many players who were never comfortable at BYU, both members and non members, and it was obvious that a transfer was needed. It is not always bad. Then, there are some players who surprise you and make Provo their home, like Brian Logan, even though they never got baptized. One thing is certain, for all, is that the Coaches and team go out of their way to make ALL feel loved and welcome.
