As someone that has run into bears accidentally in the wild, that guy's a moron.

I've seen how fast bears run. And it is super fast. And that bear is much larger than the black bears that I've encountered. And I agree with the person in the car. It was disrespectful to everyone nearby. What could they do if he were mauled.... put themselves in danger? Wow.
