Nah. Punish people for stupid behavior, yes. But what to do with wildlife is an independent question. It’s not a
question of guilt or innocence with an animal. Whether they need to be left alone, relocated, or destroyed has nothing to do with their “fault”.
I’m all about accountability for humans though. If a person’s stupid behavior results in an animal like this having to be killed, give that person additional punishment.
