Traffic is extremely heavy which carrier subscribers would override non subscription. They are both using the same technology so maps are going to be similar.

Now each carrier wants you on their tower so they don't pay fees but as long as you are within 30% signal you will stay on best tower. Below that it will jump.

TMobile would rather you have a great experience and have you leverage another carriers tower than jump to them.
