Cal and UC Davis both over 100k.
CA has a massive population with few universities that heavily subsidizes in-state tuition and draws tons of international students.
As the quality of students increases, it's a matter of time before SDSU before, especially with P12 label and money, can improve academic reputation.
The P12 can make the same argument they did with Utah in 2010. It's not what the school is now, it's the potential it can be with the P5 money and association. Utah made the most of the situation. It isn't even the same school or even football program anymore.
SDSU has the population, application, enrollment potential to become a stronger academic player.
