All these years when some BYU fans said “unless you are NY6, bowl games don’t
matter.”
I disagree. While it’s not NY6 or playoffs, being in a bowl like that is MUCH better for the program than playing in the New Mexico bowl against some Sun Belt team.
Fans and recruits want to see BYU v Nebraska. That is a game they will care about.
