He's looking at a big rebuild next season. It's the right time for him to take
the highest bidder. Especially w the NIL winds changing as drastically as they are right now.
If he struggles at UVU over the next couple years, it's more than likely that he won't get a shot at HC at a place like Cal. Besides, coming in as such a hot commodity, he's sure to be given a lot of leeway in his first couple years.
He's absolutely making a great move for himself by taking the Cal job, imo.
