Ted Lasso Believe.

Wife and I spent a week in Italy. She's a diet coke drinker, and over there they

only have regular Coke and Coke Zero. So, she reluctantly drank the coke zero...but began liking it quickly. Before the trip she wouldn't drink the stuff.

Today when we got home she cracked open a diet coke and said, "this tastes like nothing. Maybe I'm a coke zero person now."

I just hope she doesn't convert to DP Zero so she won't drink my favorites.

Yep. Diet Coke is closer to “new Coke” which was intended to be closer to Pepsi. That’s why it uses the Coke logo but

I’ve had the impression for some time that Coke expects people to prefer Coke Zero and sees it as the future.

Zero / low calorie drinks used to be marketed as “diet.” It is now the fashion to brand them as “zero.”
