I went to the U and had a perfectly fine experience.
No, it's not BYUesque. Yes, there's definitely a liberal slant to their views. Isn't that what everyone kind of expects?
I never once felt truly disgusted to be a student there. I didn't, however, attend a single sporting event while I was a student. I had season tickets to BYU during the time. Perhaps my mind would be changed if that were the case.
