Yeah, no financial benefits in playing on So Cal soil, vs a solid program, in a
Pacif time slot.
With the demise of the Pac, there is certainly a huge opportunity for SDSU to grow their fan base. Membership into the Big12 (& bringing all those good teams to their venue) would almost surely find success. And adding strong regional partners in the Arizona schools (& hopefully Cal too (for bball, anyways)) — SDSU is a no-brainer in my mind. In terms of overall finance, in recruiting, & certainly in terms of connecting w our own very large California fan base.
