Reality 1: You stay in the Big 12. You get a nice paycheck, but are on the same order as Iowa St as just another P5 team. You make the CFP once every 15 years.

Reality 2: You go join the MWC (and assorted remnants of the PAC). You rekindle some of your old rivalries (Utah, SDSU, Hawaii, Wyoming, Utah St, Boise St). The money is less, but the conference is easier (and top 6 conference champs still get an autobid) so you make the CFP every 3 years.
