it is generally an issue with this film because some people think it was done just to be woke. It has definitely been expressed on CB and recently. In fact, if anyone has said the word woke than I am assuming it to do with race unless it is feminism. I didn't see an LGTBQ etc in the film.

Outside of CB this has been the main issue. I have had 3 active LDS people tell me in person that they won't watch it because Disney felt they had to make Ariel black. I don't think those that told me that said it because they are racist but they hate any indication Disney is going woke and consider that change a sign.

I could care less, I just thought it was a fun movie with my kids.
