Dang, nice job. Similarly I replaced my backflow preventer for about $150
For the parts after reading on CB that’s it’s easy (thanks CB!) I understand having a plumber fix it would be $800-$1,000.

It’s one piece/assembly and was not hard. A few minor obstacles of course and 2 trips to Home Depot but got it switched out with a little help from youtube.
