SLC airport gives everybody the opportunity to experience Trek

Last time I flew into SLC I walked 4.9 miles (only a tad exaggeration) from my gate to the passenger pickup

Just a little bit of an exaggeration. Even from the farthest B gate, it’s a mile walk to passenger pickup.

West coast bias. DIA isn't even close to the worst. Philly, Newark, LGA are all easily much worse

Yes, if booking flights you use DEN. Locals always refer to it as DIA.
