B12 has stability and there aren't any G5s out there that the network would amend the contract to give them an equal pro-rata share. Even a great basketball only team doesn't seem to move the needle. B12 snatched up the best non-P5 programs (Houston isn't the best, but they do have some history, they are in Texas and are really good at basketball). UCONN would be a worse version of Houston. I don't see the benefit to adding them. I think it is smart to kick the tires and talk to everyone to assess the options of the conference. That is doing your diligence and planning for contingencies.
