And have that for any potential legal wrangling or exit fees. Or maybe just to satisfy any hold out boosters or academic snobs in their midst. I believe Colorado has seen both sides of the fence and without Texas controlling the B12 they see a better pasture...and buffaloes need a nice pasture...
You don't go meeting with the B12 in secrecy. Start stating you're going to do what is best for your school. And basically threaten to leave if the numbers (money & exposure) are not good enough...if you are not serious about leaving.
That said, it is so much easier to stay if money, exposure and access is the same. Change is hard on anyone. So, so much easier to stay.
I just do not believe all 10 will.
