I just ask myself “why would they lie”?

If I can come up with a good reason, then I might have some skepticism. I see no reason why CU and Arizona would lie about wanting to stay if a) They had an offer to leave and b) They wanted to leave.

There is nothing legal that would force them to wait. Waiting provides no additional leverage. I don’t see any reason President Robbins has to lie. If you want to share your opinion of why he would lie in this scenario, please do. Otherwise, everything that has transpired fits 100% with what he has said.
