Have had the same experience…..
I iced it to get any swelling down, stretched it and did some shoulder therapy band exercises for a couple of weeks.

This after thinking I could lift and go about my normal routine. I finally realized I wasn’t letting it heal. Took a step back and was patient. Pain free in a couple of weeks and the mobility returned.
