Those people aren't necessarily there to watch the full game. It's more of a
social event or fun thing to watch some football and hang out. They couldn't care less about the actual outcome so they can leave whenever they want so they aren't stuck in traffic as long. And the ones that do care about the outcome, they still care more about saving a little time in the parking lot and roads than the outcome.
