While I was in residency we had a problem with an attending
He wanted to keep us for way too long on morning rounds. He was an inpatient attending, and we often had clinic in the afternoon, so there was kinda a hard stop at noon so that we could get some logistics cleaned up before we had our didactic lectures at 12:30, then onto clinic. This attending would push us right up to the last minute or even well past it, quizzing us, lecturing us, etc. I look back now and realize that it was all for my good and growth, but at the time it was really annoying.

I sent a long text what I thought was my co-residents about how annoying he was and how it drove me crazy. I didn't hold back punches much. But instead it went to my attending. I thought I was going to get fired when I realized what I did. But he never brought it up, I never brought it up, and we just kept working together.
