was totally worth it.
The game atmosphere at BYU is just too good. When OU missed the field goal in the 4th, the stadium exploded, and the momentum shift was palpable. Immediately it felt like we had a really good chance of winning, and fear was there for OU. You could see on the OU sideline and in the faces of their fans that they were scared. That obviously changed when Retzlaff fumbled on the sack, but the magic was still there for a minute, and I would have paid way more than I did to experience that.
Don’t listen to the Utes who said the stadium was empty. It filled in nicely by the end of the first.
Myself and Mrs. Silvia had a great time walking around campus and driving around South Provo afterwards, and reminiscing about our time there together.
BYU is a special place. And I’m a ride or die cougar football fan for life.
