Skip Pompei, especially if you're coming from Rome. I thought it was so
overrated after having seen Florence and Rome. I wish I had just skipped it and spent the extra time in Positano/Sorrento/Capri.
If you could ever make it down there for more than a day, I would. I loved Sorrento and Positano, but my favorite thing we did was a private boat tour of Capri. It was breathtaking.
I know other CB'ers will disagree with me, but I found Pompei incredibly overrated. Mostly just rubble. I find it more fascinating to read about it. If I had seem Pompei first, I think I would have found it amazing. But after Rome/Florence, It was pretty boring, honestly.
