All I’m saying is, just look at the world today. I know plenty of good people who have way different views from me. Look at your politics. Certainly you have someone in your family who has polar opposite views from you. Look at your religion. Certainly, you know really good people who think the complete opposite.

I certainly don’t agree with slavery. But had I been raised in the south at that time, I don’t know what my ideals might be.
