You give up just about all your assets for one crazy roll of the dice. You get a great, but aging player, who is more and more prone to health issues. Now, who's team is it? It should be Booker's team. He's their best player. But KD is KD and they paid a fortune to get him so maybe he should be the leader. It causes confusion. This Phoenix team has dealt with a ton of injuries this year and missed time by most of their key players. However, they have still underperformed. Dramatically.
I'd like to see what this team would be doing if they still had Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson, and still had all their assets to use on other pieces. I can't imagine they'd be any worse than they've shown this season.
VERY impatient, short-sighted decision by the Suns in my opinion.
