They made it very difficult…but it’s easier to stay over the 2nd apron once you are already there. Really difficult to get the salary back if you drop under. I think the suns plans are to stay over through 2026. That’s when KD’s contract expires.

The 2032 draft will be the first one impacted by the can’t trade 7 years out rule.
