As a frosh in 24-25, he'd be a soph for 25-26. But, it can't mean what class he'd be in 'next' because of how the high school seniors are listed.

If they think he was frosh in 23-24 and a soph for 25-26, they've got it wrong.

If they missed the 'he's on a mission' part, and think he was frosh 22-23 and just completed his soph year in 23-24, they've got it wrong.

Any way I try to interpret it, they've got it wrong. Which seems to drive home how worthless such a set of projections is.
