Intel reported Microsoft as a client for their 18A node, which is equivalent to 1.8nm. Which would beat everybody, because Samsung and TSMC are only at 2nm.

But then his CFO said they're heavily relying on external foundries, and will keep doing so. If they can volume-produce 1.8nm with acceptable yields, why are they still outsourcing production?
