A sampling of schools that he ranked before BYU (LOL):
- Army
- Navy
- Vanderbilt
- Washington State
- Oregon State
- Wake Forest
- Rutgers
- Utah
Just the bottom of the barrel schools. He put BYU in the same quadrant as Memphis, Boise State, Temple, and SMU.
He has some bias which explains things. The fact that he literally called BYU "BigotsYU" and calls BYU fans "BYU Fan Liars." Tough to trust his credibility.
Not to mention, here are other wild rankings he made:
- He ranked USC ahead of Texas and Notre Dame.
- He ranked UCLA ahead of Oklahoma and LSU.
- He ranked Stanford ahead of Florida State, Tennessee, and Clemson.
About BYU: Remember what consultants said around last realignment? "I don't think conferences realized how valuable BYU is."
By the numbers, that's correct. TV viewership, attendance, etc.: BYU isn't Texas or Alabama, but it's not Oregon State or Rutgers either. It's closer to the conference mates it's with now: Kansas, Oklahoma State, Iowa State, etc.
