Tear down the current press box and build a new luxury box to maximize corporate
sponsorship money coming in.

Each individual suite would come with an indoor seating area that includes food and beverages (the current loge setup makes you pay for concessions...lame!). Then there would be an outdoor seating area, with those heating lamp things pointing down onto the seats. The windows to the indoor seating area would also be able to retract open if wanted.

As part of this new luxury box, there would be a "grand lobby" area that would have huge two-story window views of the mountains. This would be essentially the "Cougar Room" and would host Cougar Club luncheons, recruiting visits, and general athletics meetings for both BYU and Big 12 conference officials.

My personal experience: I have sat in the box suites for the Utah Jazz, Salt Lake Bees, Utah Utes, and Weber State Wildcats. All of them have better luxury suite experiences for corporate sponsors. Yes, even Weber State (it's way smaller, but still newer and nicer than the LES box). Utah State also has a really sweet looking new press box, though I haven't been inside it. Same with Boise State.

The Salt Lake Bees actually have the perfect setup with their box suites with the indoor lounge seating area with food, and then a door that goes outside to the chair seats. Honestly we should just copy that exact same setup, it's perfect.

Not only would make a ton of financial sense and probably pay itself off within a few years as Nu Skins Corporate friends all buy a suite (Nu Skin, Qualtrics, Vivint, Saela, etc) but there could also be a "Ford Fan Zone" area on the top level (for those of you that go to Jazz games, you know what I'm talking about).

This fan zone area would be an area at the top of the press box that is essentially a large standing room only area, and anyone can buy tickets to it, not just corporate sponsors. There are no reserved seats, but there would be some lounge seating areas with couches, and a kids play zone with a bounce house, football toss games, fusbol tables, etc. There would also be consessions areas with food for sale. Basically, a family's dream. Parents who want to actually watch the game, can go stand over by the railing and watch the action, while the little kids (thinking of my family here) can watch some of the game if they wish, but can also have space to run around in the background, toss a football around, eat a hot dog, etc. Oh and also family bathrooms with changing rooms, nursing areas, etc.

I know for the Ford Fan Zone at Jazz Games, you pay like $50 for a ticket and that includes a hot dog and a drink I believe. So BYU could offer a similar promotion for this Fan Zone...the Tim Dahle Ford Fan Zone??

Anyway, that would be my priority NUMBER ONE! There is so much money being left on the table for football games. I see the complaints from a lot of you out there who are paying thousands dollars for season tickets to sit on a metal bleacher that you used to pay hundreds of dollars for a couple decades ago. I get it, the fans deserve an updated experience. And the current Box has got to go!
