Well I think the #1 reason is he wore out his welcome in Kentucky
And was not enjoying the entire rabid fan base and alumni network having flipped on him. But definitely, Arkansas stepped up their financial offer to make that part work after Cal decided he wanted out

In case it hasn't yet been posted, the reason Cal went to Arkansas is because they have a ton more NIL $$$ than UK. And
