The reality is that nobody should be baptized based on sports or the choir. Missionary work is about personal connections and spiritual experiences. The relevant question regarding sports being a missionary tool is if you have made personal connections because of sports and have any of the connections led to spiritual discussions. If that is the case, then sports is definitely a missionary tool.
